Today, I had a chanced conversation with an amazing person I am blessed to meet. As it goes, nothing in this world is easy. To achieve anything, it has its own share of difficulties...Problems. Can there be a life without problems, I mean in a worldly way? May be or May be not! Problems, the manifestations of our thoughts. What is our natural reaction to problems? Sulk? Stay put? Solve them? Well, trying to solve most of us do! But, we might give up or wait for a miracle to happen!
Mostly, we have many thoughts running through our mind endlessly just round about the problem instead of hitting it bang on. These thoughts get interwoven around the problem. Many thoughts produced by our very own mind. Oh boy, do we lose what we are ought to do in the process? What will happen to me? How is it going to affect me? What will I be losing? Such thoughts that make us truly deeply madly get stuck with the problem.... pushing ourselves into suffering! Problems/difficulties we talk about here might not be to the extent of things like Theory of relativity...it is to apply to the mundane routine that we are in.
This amazing person gives a way to solve this seemingly complex problem...which is to Intensely Relax and to Intensely Focus (on what is the actual problem). The wonderful part - one results in the other. Intense relaxation helps achieve Intense focus and vice versa.
The rest, my friends, is for us to do...
Cya again!

Nice write up... but would have been great if you could illustrate the same with an example. I hope u get it.
ReplyDeleteI liked the way u carved it, top to toe...
"Intense relaxations helps achieve Intense focus and vice versa."

Not Self-discovery Raghu! As I said, told by the person we both know :) I am trying to put it to practice and thought it right to tell others too about it!
DeleteI somehow know the 1st part(Intense relaxation helps achieve Intense focus) from the same amazing person :).But today I came to know the 2nd part(vice versa) which is equally amazing as the 1st part.
